Saluting the Women of 91短视频APP
A wave of appreciation for the women who leave an impact on the world shouldn't be limited to Women's History Month. Every day of the year, women across the world help to empower and lift up people of all walks of life. Lavonia Altnor, a graduate of both the Medical Coding and Billing program and the Medical Assistant program at the , recently reached out to show her gratitude for the women who helped her along the way.
Right from the beginning, admissions representative Diane Walker made Lavonia feel welcome, which ultimately led to her decision to attend 91短视频APP. Ms. Walker's demeanor showed Lavonia the kinds of amazing people who are a part of 91短视频APP鈥檚 programs. Once Lavonia began classes, she was inspired by teachers like Ms. Michelle Lockett, Ms. Melody Rudolph, Ms. Monica Williams and Ms. Dominique Conteh, who also happened to be a fellow veteran.
鈥淚 would not be a true veteran if I did not show appreciation to my fellow veterans,鈥 Lavonia says. 鈥淢s. Conteh always makes sure we do not go unnoticed 鈥 to a veteran, simply being recognized and appreciated for service means the absolute world to us. She expects her students to put forth nothing but their very best and will not accept anything other than that.鈥
Lavonia says she felt like she was given the tools she needed to master everything from soft skills like learning how to dress for the job she wanted, to mastering HIPPA compliance and even manage her own personal life. As she was ready to search for her new career, Katina Lincoln (鈥淭he reason for me finding my current employer,鈥 says Lavonia) at the Career Services department offered her unwavering support and guidance.
"My experience at Lincoln has been an unforgettable one," Lavonia says. "And I thank [them] all for collectively mentoring me, educating me, and most of all providing me with all the tools needed to go out into the world to start a brand-new career well prepared."
