Gear up for some Hot Rides in Nashville!
The Nashville campus of Lincoln College of Technology will host a car show Saturday, May 10th, to raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project and support local food banks while giving the community an up-close look at some of the sharpest rides in Tennessee! Students from Lincoln’s chapter of the National Technical Honor Society invite car lovers of all ages to visit the campus at 1524 Gallatin Ave. and enjoy a day-long celebration of fast cars and custom machines that also supports two very worthy causes! Doors open at 8 a.m.
The day’s Main Event will be a scholarship competition in which finalists applying to Lincoln College of Technology will be evaluated by a panel of industry experts, based on their portfolios and interviews. The selected winner will receive a scholarship for full tuition at Lincoln, and several partial scholarships will also be awarded. This is an event that will change futures and lives!
Spotlighted at the show from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. will be Chase Elliott’s #9 NAPA car, and guests will have the opportunity to have their photos taken with this NASCAR performance machine! There is no admission charge for the event; attendees are encouraged to bring canned food items for the food bank collection drive. Students will host a bake sale with all proceeds benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project, a non-profit organization that supports wounded and disabled veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Lincoln representatives will also be on hand to give campus tours and talk about the training programs offered in Automotive Technology, Diesel and Truck Technology, Collision Repair and Refinishing Technology, and Heavy Equipment Maintenance and Technology.
