Nursing Instructors Multiply Their Impact
On September 10, 2014, two 91¶ÌÊÓƵAPP Practical Nursing students—Leonard McGarth and Stephanie Rodzwic—from the Northeast Philadelphia campus witnessed an accident on a busy city street and reacted quickly and professionally. They were the first responders for two young siblings who were struck by a turning pickup truck.
McGarth and Rodzwic stabilized the children, who were subsequently taken to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. The confidence and expertise that these two students displayed is an outstanding demonstration of the skills they were taught in the Practical Nursing program.
Nurses touch lives in many ways. Nursing instructors maximize their ability to heal others and save lives by imparting their knowledge and techniques to students.

Teaching is a new experience
Even fulfilling jobs like nursing can start to feel repetitive over time. When you're stuck in a rut, teaching can be the impetus you need to become re-energized and spark interest in your work once more.
"Every time I was able to explain a complex concept and saw the students begin to understand or fully comprehend what I was trying to convey," says Lou Vendrell, Corporate Director of Product Development at 91¶ÌÊÓƵAPP and a former Lincoln instructor, "I would get goose bumps knowing that in the extra time I spent helping them understand, I may have just changed their lives forever!"
You'll supplement your income
Teaching is both a fulfilling and practical next step. Learn how you can supplement your income by becoming a part-time instructor today, or take on a full-time position if your hours allow it.
You’ll help others reach their potential
The faculty at Lincoln create an environment of success by guiding others to exceed their expectations. To learn more about the positive impact of our programs, including Nursing, on both students and employers, visit our testimonial page at here!
