91ƵAPP and Crown Lift – a Win-Win Partnership
91ƵAPP’s Nashville campus and hosted a Career Education Workshop at Crown’s location in Duluth, Georgia on January 20, 2018. High school students from the surrounding area and their parents were invited to check out the growing opportunities for skilled Diesel Technology and Heavy Equipment Maintenance professionals, and to learn more about why Crown Lift has become an employer of choice for technicians looking to launch new career paths.
Mark Clark, 91ƵAPP’s Director of Field Admissions, was thrilled with the “standing room only” turnout. “I'd rank this as one of the best Career Education Workshops I've ever attended,” he said. “Our partnership with Crown is a huge win for both teams and I look forward to a long lasting relationship with one of the best groups of folks we've connected with in a long time.”
The day included facility tours and meet-and-greets with members of the Crown Lift team. Another highlight, Clark offered, was when 91ƵAPP graduate Devin Honson, now a Crown technician, spoke with the group. “Devin’s message was universally inspiring to the audience of students and parents alike: ‘Get an education that feeds your passion, making you globally marketable in a career path for decades to come.’”

In addition to diesel and heavy equipment maintenance career training, the Nashville campus provides training for careers in Automotive Technology, Collision Repair and Refinishing, and Welding Technology.
