Located in the heart of New England, our East Windsor campus serves students from across the country. We’re proud to train the next generation of workers for seven different industries: Automotive and Diesel Service, Collision Repair, Electrical, HVAC, Welding, and Medical Assisting. Our campus’ shops, labs and classrooms are filled with industry-standard tools and equipment, and we’re proud to offer students the opportunity to connect with industry leaders through partnerships with Tesla, Mazda, Johnson Controls International, Peterbilt, Republic Services, Hussmann, and the Food Processing Suppliers Association.

Graduates from our training programs can help close the widening skills gap in the United States. Simply put, companies nationwide are experiencing a shortage of skilled workers and need to fill open positions in order to meet the ever increasing demand for products and services. 91¶ÌÊÓƵAPP is here to help fill the skills gap with competent entry-level technicians.

Transportation Sector Training 91¶ÌÊÓƵAPP at East Windsor

91¶ÌÊÓƵAPP’s Automotive Technology program covers the major systems in passenger vehicles. The curriculum prepares students for careers as entry-level technicians with a sound background of knowledge to build upon at the dealership or independent shop. East Windsor’s Diesel & Truck Technology program immerses students in diesel engine, transmission and electrical systems, as well as hydraulics. Students will learn to work on four of the most-used fuel delivery systems: The Common Rail System, Detroit Diesel Electronic Controls (DDEC), Cummins Systems, and International HEUI systems. Our Collision Repair & Refinishing curriculum integrates I-CAR standards and trains students to repair, restore and rebuild damaged vehicles. Industry tools for all transportation programs are supplied through a partnership with Matco Tools Inc. The East Windsor campus also partners with Kenworth and Daimler North America, and Diesel & Truck Technology students train on those brands’ proprietary technology.

Skilled Trades & Manufacturing

Besides transportation-related training, the East Windsor campus offers four skilled trades programs for essential careers that are in high demand. The Air Conditioning, Refrigeration & Heating Technology (HVAC) program prepares students to service, troubleshoot and repair commercial and residential climate control systems. The Electrician Training program teaches students residential and commercial electrical systems. An in-shop stick house is used by students to familiarize themselves with a realistic structural environment. 91¶ÌÊÓƵAPP also partners with Johnson Controls to train students in technologies for smart buildings, security, and fire safety.

East Windsor trains CNC Machining & Manufacturing students to become skilled entry-level machinists. Students learn computer numerical control programming in our Haas-sponsored training center, using the latest Automation machines. Welding Technology students start their training with Miller Electric’s Augmented Reality system, which familiarizes them with specific welding techniques before moving on to welding real metal. The East Windsor campus has expanded this program to 82 welding booths to help fill the shortage of skilled welders in the United States.
